2000 Guineas
The 2000 Guineas is a Group 1 flat horse race for three-year-old thoroughbred colts and fillies, and it is run over a distance of one mile. The race was first run in 1809, and it is one of the five British Classic Races. It is the first leg of the Triple Crown of Thoroughbred Racing in England, which also includes the Epsom Derby and the St. Leger Stakes.
Over the years, the 2000 Guineas has produced some of the most memorable moments in horse racing history, with legendary horses like Nijinsky, Sea the Stars, and Frankel all winning the race. It is known for attracting the best three-year-old colts and fillies from around the world, and it is considered a major event in the horse racing calendar.
Auguste Rodin: Ante-post favorite for the Derby and is the first foal out of triple Group 1 winner Rhododendron. Capped off his juvenile campaign with an impressive three-and-a-half-length victory in the Group 1 Futurity Trophy in October. Valuable attributes if this turns into a stamina test, and will not be inconvenienced by an ease in the ground.
Little Big Bear: Put up one of the most impressive juvenile performances in recent memory when running out a seven-length winner of the Phoenix Stakes at the Curragh in August. The highest-rated horse in the field but has not raced since the Phoenix, and the form is open to question. Yet to race beyond six and a half furlongs so has stamina over a mile to prove.
Chaldean: Confirmed his status as the best of the British juveniles with a game victory in the Dewhurst at this track in October. Frankie Dettori is expected to be aboard on what is to be his final ride in the 2,000 Guineas. Greenham comeback didn't go to plan when unseating Dettori at the start and that is not ideal preparation for this assignment.
Sakheer: Justified odds-on favouritism with victory in the Mill Reef Stakes at Newbury in September. The least exposed of the main protagonists and therefore retains plenty of scope for improvement. Pedigree suggests that he is far from a guaranteed stayer and it is a slight concern that Roger Varian’s horses are 0-22 in the last fortnight.
A number of runners have the potential to be value bets, including Creative Force, Lipizzaner, and Via Delle Volte.

1000 Guineas
The 1000 Guineas is a Group 1 flat horse race for three-year-old thoroughbred fillies, and it is also run over a distance of one mile. The race was first run in 1814, and like the 2000 Guineas, it is one of the five British Classic Races. It is the second leg of the Fillies' Triple Crown, which also includes the Oaks and the St. Leger Stakes.
The 1000 Guineas horse race is set to take place on Sunday, May 7th, 2023, some of the best horses are described below with their jockeys and betting odds.(subject to change)

Tahiyra, ridden by Dermot Weld, is the favorite to win with odds of 5/2. Tahiyra is unbeaten in two starts and is the top-rated filly in the field. Dream Of Love, trained by Charlie Appleby, is another top contender with odds of 7/1. However, Dream Of Love needs improvement, like a few others in the race, and is not considered a potential winner by some.
Other horses, like Caernarfon, Dance In The Grass, Embrace, Fairy Cross, Juliet Sierra, and Karsavina, are considered outsiders but could still do well in the race.
Over the years, the 1000 Guineas has produced some of the most exciting finishes in horse racing, with great fillies like Pretty Polly, Oh So Sharp, and Minding all winning the race. Like the 2000 Guineas, it is considered a major event in the horse racing calendar, and it attracts some of the best three-year-old fillies from around the world.
