PDC World Darts Championships 2025
Sunday 15th December – Friday 3rd January
It’s nearly Christmas, its time for the darts. The 32nd World Darts Championship gets under way with Luke Humphries out to defend his title against the teenage wonderkid Luke Littler.
Any thoughts or replay of the final can be quickly dismissed as Littler’s rise through the rankings has seen him pitched in the same half of the draw as the World Champion. However whilst many cannot see the 2025 winner not being called Luke the value may lie elsewhere. With previous World Champions Gary Anderson, Michael van Gerwen and Michael Smith all on the opposite side of the draw and all at double figure prices, an each way bet at ½ the odds 2 places could be a good shout.
Of the other runners Mike De Decker picked up his first major this year when winning the World Grand Prix and has run both the Luke’s close every time he has met them. He would have to beat both Humpries and Littler to even get to the final but the 25/1 could be a decent each way bet. Young Dutch pair Wessel Nijman and World Youth winner Gian van Veen have also attracted attention recently at decent prices.
Whatever the outcome come January Joe Jennings will remain open for bets until the last dart is thrown each day and will cover all markets offered across the industry.
