At Joe Jennings Bookmakers we are committed to providing a safe and enjoyable environment for all of our customers.
If you think you may have a problem with gambling and wish to stop or limit yourself, you can use our available tools to stay in control of your gambling.
Even if you do not feel concerned with your gambling activity, we ask all of our customers to follow the guidelines below:
• Talk to someone if you’re feeling overwhelmed
• Think about why you are gambling
• Monitor how often you are gambling
• Put a limit on your spending
• Give yourself timeouts from gambling
To further help you manage your gambling activity, we provide the following Safer Gambling tools which you can apply to your Joe Jennings account:
Deposit Limits
This facility allows you to limit the amount you can deposit into your account within one of the following timeframes:
• Daily
• Weekly
• Monthly
Any decreases to your limit will be implemented immediately.
Any increases to your limit will need to be requested via e-mail. If approved, your new limit will come into effect when your active limit expires and following a 24 hour cool-off period.
Net Deposit Limits
A net deposit limit into consideration withdrawals as well as deposits. This way you can set up an amount that you would be comfortable spending in a daily, weekly or monthly period, and never spend more than you intended to. Net Deposit Limits are also available for the following timeframes:
• Daily
• Weekly
• Monthly

Time Outs
If you wish to take a short break from Joe Jennings Bookmakers, you can do so by setting a Time Out on your account for one of the timeframes listed below:
- 24 Hours
- 48 Hours
- 7 Days
- 30 Days
- Any other period up to a maximum of 6 weeks (42 days).

Once the Time Out has been applied, you will not be able to access your Joe Jennings account to deposit or place bets during the timeframe you have selected. Withdrawals will still be permitted during this time.
Account Closure
If you no longer wish to place bets with Joe Jennings Bookmakers, you can choose to close your account. Once your account is closed, any remaining funds will be sent back to your active payment method, you will not be able to access the account and will be removed from all marketing.
If you would like to reopen your account following a period of closure, you can do so by emailing compliance@joejennings.co.uk. You will be required to follow our opening procedure prior to using the account again.
Should you feel you are at risk of developing a gambling problem or believe you already have a gambling problem, then we would recommend applying a Self-Exclusion to your account, please see below for details on the Self-Exclusion facility.
Self Exclusion
If you feel that you have a gambling problem, or that you are at risk of developing a gambling problem, we recommend that you consider applying a Self-Exclusion to your account. You can apply a Self Exclusion for any of the below timeframes:
• 6 Months
• 1 Year
• 2 Years
• 5 Years

The minimum Self-Exclusion period is 6 Months, but alternatively, you can choose a longer period (1 Year, 2 Years, 5 Years, or Permanent Self Exclusion). You will not be able to access the account during the timeframe you have selected, and you will be removed from all marketing.

RecoverMe is an app that was designed by Phychologists, Phychologists and Phychiatrists to help those with a Gambling Addiction. This app can be downloaded using IOS or Android.
The app has 5 Core Features;
• Therapy – There are six easy to follow cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) sessions to empower you to overcome this addiction.
• Mindfulness – There are a number of sessions that have been developed to encourage you to focus on the present moment.
• Diary – This will improve your self-awareness and allow you to monitor your progress through this journey.
• Support – A way for you to connect with others embarking on a similar journey or other organisations that may be helpful.
• SOS – This provides you with the strategies to better manage your urges to gamble when you experience them in real time.
